TRAVEL TIPS & DIRECTIONS
595 Morton Dr, Windsor, ON N9J 3T8, Canada
CenterLine is located about 10 minutes SSW from downtown Windsor.
There are two ways to enter Windsor from downtown Detroit:
Windsor Tunnel
Entrance is right next to the Detroit GM Renaissance Center and is accessed from Jefferson Avenue. Once you come out of the tunnel you will have to turn left since you are facing the river when you exit the tunnel and then continue west toward Centerline.
It will take about 12-15 minutes from the tunnel exit. You come out right downtown. The tunnel is closer to the Caesars hotel.
Ambassador Bridge
Further west of Downtown Detroit and is accessed from I-75/ 96 downtown or Fort Street which runs along the Detroit River. If you take the bridge you exit directly onto Huron Church Road which you stay on and go straight out to EC Row Freeway and go west which puts you directly onto Ojibway Road which takes you to Morton Street which is the street Centerline is on.
It only takes 10 minutes from the bridge since you are already further west.
When crossing the border:
- Add at least one hour to your travel time for border crossing and downtown Detroit traffic
- Have a valid passport, enhanced drivers license, US Passport card or Nexus card
- Tell Canadian customs you’re attending association meetings and not doing any work in Canada
- Leave extra personal or work-related items out of your car
- Tell a U.S. rental car company that you are going to Windsor
- Declare anything acquired in Canada and keep receipts (know the limits for alcohol & tobacco)
- Do not lie to customs agents or take any contraband or drugs into Canada
