A Letter from Our Chairman

Hello Friends and Colleagues,
I want to personally invite you to submit an abstract for the 2021 International Brazing and Soldering Conference that will be held in person in Denver, Colorado. On October 3rd through the 6th, this once every three-year event will bring together the world’s experts in brazing and soldering. Join me at this unique opportunity to share ideas, view the latest technology, and see old friends.

We recognize that the covid-19 pandemic has affected us all in so many ways. I ask you to please consider submitting an abstract for the conference. As always, we strongly encourage the submission of full manuscripts for final publication in the proceedings; however, we realize that the current environment has interrupted so much of our lives that a full manuscript may not be possible at this time. In consideration of these very trying times, we have decided to include extended abstracts in the conference proceedings and welcome the authors to present, not only completed work, but their current activities in the areas of brazing and soldering.

The brazing and soldering community is rich in knowledge, expertise, character, and strength. Together, I believe that the IBSC 2021 Conference will be an amazing event that we all will remember for years to come. I look forward to seeing you in Denver!

Sincerely,
Stephen L. Feldbauer, Ph.D.
Chairman
